Housing Needs and Demand Study 2010
The Housing Needs and Demand Study 2010 has been produced for Walsall Council as an update to the 2007 study. As new information has become available the updated study includes revised estimates on the need for affordable housing. The main changes take account of:
- the housing market (i.e., changes in prices/rents)
- local incomes
- supply of affordable housing
- a re-basing of household figures

House Condition Survey
The house condition survey provides us with a detailed picture of current housing conditions across the whole of the borough. The survey includes information about the housing stock such as type; size and age of properties whether they are rented or owned; the type of repairs required and information on the energy rating of properties.
